Our PMC is designed to be highly practical, with a focus on learning by doing.
Guided by experts, the course anticipates your journey as a Principal Practitioner, addressing and developing critical skills you’ll need at this next stage of your career.
Three collaborative workshop days cover:
Day 1 – Your Skills, Your Practice
Reflect on the skills and experience you bring to your principal practice. Discuss your additional ethical obligations as a principal practitioner, identify your ideal clients and how to market yourself in today’s competitive legal environment.
Day 2 – Setting Up For Success
Discuss the critical elements of client engagement. Further develop your leadership style. Learn how to grow a sustainable team and supervise your junior staff.
Day 3 – Working In Your Practice & Planning For The Future
Discuss systems and structures for financial and matter management. Discover the opportunities and risks that AI & Technology offer you and your firm while setting yourself up for your future.
You will complete learning activities both online and during three live-streamed workshop days that enable interaction, questions and discussion.
The Leo Cussen Practice Management Course (PMC) is compliant with the Practice Management Course Guidelines for Victoria and delivers the first-class training and assessment that our clients have come to expect from us.
